Tuition and fees
Resident undergraduates pay $2723/semester in tuition and fees (not including course fees) for 12 or more credits in the fall of 2008. Nonresident undergraduates pay $8272 unless they qualify for the Western Undergraduate Exchange rate of $3747. The tuition portion of these rates will be fixed for four years to help make tuition expense more predictable.

Job Prospects and Salaries
ECE's are the largest single group of engineering professionals. The Bureau of Labor Statistics forecasts favorable demand through 2016. The median salary in 2006 was $75,930 for electrical engineers, $81,050 for electronics engineers and $88,470 for computer hardware engineers. The starting salary for graduating B.S. EE's was $55,292 and M.S. EE's was $66,309 in 2007.
