Mountain Campus Science Day - September 27th
Each year, the city of Flagstaff has a 2 week long Festival of Science and NAU participates in many of the ongoing events. The Mountain
Campus Science Day takes place on Saturday, September 27th and consists of many hands-on activities such as getting the chance to hold
some strange and exotic bugs or safely viewing sun spots through a sun telescope. This free event is open to all and takes place outside
the Wettaw Science Bldg.
Family Weekend - October 3-5
This weekend-long event gives NAU families a chance to experience college life at NAU. Many events are planned over the weekend if

Scholarship Celebration - October 3
This annual event will be held on campus at Ashurst Auditorium on Friday, October 3rd, from 3-5:00 pm. All scholarship awardees will
be recognized and many of our donors and faculty will be on hand to congratulate the students. We will have a light refreshments for
all and a photographer will be on hand to take photographs of recipients/families and donors.
Distinguished Alumni Award Ceremony - October 24
This ceremony will be held at the Radisson Woodlands Hotel, located on Business Rt. 66 in Flagstaff. We will recognize the new 2008
inductees as well as the previous NAU Centennial awardees who have been grandfathered into the Academy of Distinguished Alumni. A
pre-ceremony reception and dinner to honor all awardees will be held in the evening. Details will be forthcoming so please check back
for updates. If you are a grandfathered member or a new inductee, you will be receiving personal invitation via mail.
Homecoming Weekend
Dust off your NAU t-shirt and hat and join faculty, staff and your fellow alumni for a pre-game tailgate gathering prior to the
football game against Montana, on Saturday, October 25th. The tailgate party will be held in Skydome parking lot. We will be having
grilled hamburgers/hotdogs and the corresponding side dishes etc. and hope you'll join us. Please check back again for more
details about the when and exact location (parking spot) of this event. GO Lumberjacks!
