Engineering Design4Practice Curriculum (D4P)

The Design4Practice (D4P) curriculum provides a team-oriented, project management-directed, educational design experience for the students in each year of their program of study. The D4P context within each course involves a "problem-based" teaching and learning strategy to build and reinforce technical, managerial, and professional skills. The students therefore have both knowledge and experience of conducting a variety of engineering design projects by the time they reach their senior capstone design experience.
